League Handbook
Official Rules & Regulations
- 1.1 The league is based in North America. Teams can have EU players, but the North American side must always host (send the invite).
- 1.2 Team registration must be done by March 1st. Captains must register and manage their teams on the website.
- 1.3 Club Abandonment: If a captain abandons their club or a club withdraws from the league, the team is automatically removed. All games left on their schedule become automatic 3-0 wins for their opponents. No refunds.
- 2.1 Roster size is a maximum of 9 players. Matches are played 6v6.
- 2.2 Minimum Players: You need at least 4 players to start. If you have less than 4, you forfeit (3-0 loss).
- 2.3 No “Any” or GK: Everyone controls their own pro. No goalkeepers allowed.
- 2.4 Locked Lineups: No subs allowed after the game starts. The starting 6 are the final 6. If you try to sub mid-game, you forfeit.
- 2.5 Late Joiners: If you start with 4 or 5 players, nobody else can join once the match begins.
- 2.6 Transfer Window Rule: During designated transfer windows, teams may sign up to 2 free agents by releasing 2 players from their current roster. If a team has not yet reached its maximum roster size, they may fill their roster up to the limit, and still replace up to 2 players with free agents. Teams at maximum roster size may only sign 2 free agents by releasing 2 players. In addition, teams may trade up to 2 players with other teams. Any further changes outside these limits require admin approval.
- 3.1 Captains must start matches on time.
- 3.2 Grace Period: You have 10 minutes real-time from the scheduled start to show up. If your team isn’t in the lobby ready to play after 10 minutes, you take an automatic loss.
- 4.1 The 30-Minute Cutoff: If a player lags out or disconnects after the in-game 30-minute mark, the game continues. You cannot quit.
- 4.2 The "Stop Moving" Rule (Before 30 Mins): If a player
disconnects before the 30th minute and you want a replay, your team must
STOP MOVING immediately.
- • If you keep playing/running and the other team scores, that goal counts. You cannot try to defend, get scored on, and then say "Oh, we were quitting."
- • If you stop moving and quit properly, the match is void and replayed.
- 4.3 Replays: If a game is replayed, the score from the first game carries over. (Example: If you were winning 1-0 and disconnected, the new game starts at 0-0 but you are up 1-0 on aggregate). Video proof required.
- 4.4 Only one replay allowed per matchup. If it happens again, the team with the connection issue forfeits.
- 5.1 Matches end in a Win, Draw, or Loss. You can play extra time, but no penalties. If it’s tied after extra time, it’s a Draw.
- 5.2 AI Stats: If an AI bot scores or assists, you must credit the stats to "AI" on the website. If you give those stats to a human player, it is Stat Fraud: Captain gets a 1-game suspension and the team loses 2 points.
- 5.3 Captains must submit results on the website immediately after the game.
- 6.1 One team must stream the match on the Brotherly Prime League YouTube channel (admins will give you access).
- 6.2 Party Audio Required: We need to hear your team talking for content. If there is no voice audio, admins may penalize you.
- 6.3 NO MUSIC:
- • Turn off all in-game music (FIFA/EA FC tracks) to avoid copyright strikes.
- • Do not play music in your party chat.
- • Penalty: If we hear music or get a copyright strike, your team gets a -1 goal difference penalty.
- 6.4 The Captain must post the stream link on the website before kickoff. Streams must be saved (VODs) in case we need to review a dispute.
- 7.1 All virtual pros must be a maximum height of 6 feet (183 cm). No exceptions.
- 7.2 Enforcement: If a player is found using a pro taller than 6 feet during a match, the offending team receives an automatic 3-0 loss for that match.
- 7.3 Captains are responsible for ensuring all players on their roster comply with this rule before kickoff.
- 7.4 Height Check Submission: If one team does not submit a height check, the opposing team has the right to request that the match be replayed.
- 7.5 Height Check Request Deadline: Captains demanding a height check must do so within 3 hours of the match. After 3 hours, the match result stands and no height check dispute will be accepted.
- 7.6 Height Check Video Requirements: To ensure complete compliance, each height check video must include the following:
- • The team you are playing against must be clearly shown on screen, confirming the match-up.
- • The video must show the time when the height check is being conducted — either the in-game lobby time or a timestamp reference.
- • The height check must still show the Virtual Pro menu with positions and heights.
- • The video must be continuous, covering both the match context and the height verification — no short clips solely of height settings.
- 8.1 Time wasting of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes passing the ball around the back with no intent to attack, holding the ball in the corner, or any deliberate stalling tactics.
- 8.2 Penalty: If a team is found guilty of time wasting (via stream review or opponent report with video evidence), the offending team receives an automatic 3-0 loss for that match.
- 8.3 Admins reserve the right to review stream VODs and enforce this rule at their discretion.
- 9.1 Any team that voluntarily withdraws, disbands, or otherwise leaves the Brotherly League (BPL) at any point during an active season or tournament shall be deemed in violation of league participation standards.
- 9.2 Penalty: Any team that exits the league prior to the official conclusion of the season forfeits all remaining matches and is immediately disqualified from the current competition.
- 9.3 Re-entry Restriction: Teams that withdraw or leave the league mid-season shall not be eligible to rejoin or participate in any BPL activities until the commencement of the following season. No exceptions shall be granted.
- 9.4 Player Ineligibility: All registered players of the
departing team, including the designated captain and any substitutes, shall
be rendered ineligible to:
- • Join another team within the BPL during the same active season
- • Participate in any BPL-sanctioned matches for the remainder of the season
- 9.5 Roster Lock Enforcement: Players associated with a team that has withdrawn are bound to their original roster designation and may not transfer, substitute, or re-enter the league under any circumstance until the next official season begins.
- 9.6 Administrative Authority: League administrators reserve full authority to enforce this rule, review any disputes, and uphold the integrity of competition. All decisions regarding enforcement shall be final.
- 10.1 All players participating in a BPL match must be officially registered on the team's roster at the time the match is played. A player is considered "registered" only if they appear on the team's active roster within the official BPL system.
- 10.2 Automatic Forfeit: Any team found to have used a player who is not on their official roster during a match shall receive an automatic 3-0 forfeit loss for that match, regardless of the actual result.
- 10.3 Additional Sanctions: Beyond the automatic forfeit,
the offending team and its captain may face further sanctions at the
discretion of league administrators, including but not limited to:
- • Point deductions for repeat offences
- • Temporary or permanent suspension of the captain
- • Transfer ban for a specified period
- • Disqualification from the current season in severe cases
- 10.4 Captain Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of each team captain to ensure that all players used in a match are properly registered on their roster before the match begins. Ignorance of roster status is not a valid defence.
- 10.5 Reporting: Any team may report suspected use of an unregistered player. League administrators will review the match data and roster records to determine whether a violation occurred. All decisions shall be final.

What is BPL?
Brotherly Prime League is a competitive EA Sports FC Pro Clubs league built to bring serious players, organized teams, and a real community atmosphere together in one place. The Vision
At BPL, the goal is bigger than just playing matches. We are building an environment where teams can compete at a high level, captains can manage and represent their clubs properly, and players can showcase their talent through stats, standings, fixtures, streams, and team identity. Every part of the league is designed to make the experience feel professional, exciting, and worth being part of.
Community First
Brotherly Prime League is about competition, but it is also about community. We want players and teams to feel involved, recognized, and motivated every week. From league matches and streamed games to player customization and team branding, BPL is made to give Pro Clubs players a real platform.
